चंद्रपूर : देवेंद्र फडणवीस हे महाराष्ट्रातील राजकारणात ठळकपणे उठून दिसणारं नाव. मुल हे त्यांचं आजोड गाव. मुल शहरातील गांधी चौकातील जिल्हा परिषदेची उच्च श्रेणी प्राथमिक मुलांचा शाळेत त्यांचा मित्रांनी शिक्षण घेतले. माजी मंत्री शोभाताई फडणविस यांच्या मुलाचे शिक्षण याच शाळेत झाले. फडणवीस शहरात आले की मित्रांना भेटायला या शाळेत जायचे. आज या शाळेची स्थिती दयनीय झालेली आहे. सर्वत्र चिखल साचलेलं आहे. इमारत जिर्ण झालेली आहे. 

फडणवीसांचा मित्रांना ज्ञानार्जनाचे धडे देणाऱ्या या शाळेकडे प्रशासनाचे दुर्लक्ष झाले. मुख्यमंत्री, विरोधी पक्ष नेता आणि आता उप मुख्यमंत्री असलेल्या आपल्या मित्राला ही शुल्लक बाब सांगायची कशी ? यामुळं फडणवीसांचा मित्रांना अवघडल्यासारखं होत आहे. आमदार सूधिर मुनगंटीवारांचा विधान सभा क्षेत्रात मुल शहर येतयं. मुनगंटीवार हे फडणवीसांचे कट्टर समर्थक म्हणून ओळखले जातात. मात्र मुनगंटीवारांचही या शाळेकडे कायमच दुर्लक्ष झालं आहे.

विशेष म्हणजे मागील पाच वर्षात चंद्रपूर जिल्हा परिषदेत भाजपची सत्ता होती. याकाळातही शाळेकडे दुर्लक्ष झालं. मुल शहरातील रस्ते नवेकोरे झालेत. भव्यदिव्य शासकीय इमारत उभ्या आहेत. देखणे बसस्थानक तयार होतेयं. मात्र जिथे उद्याचा भारताचे भवितव्य घडविणारे चिमुकले शिक्षण घेत आहेत. त्यांचे हाल प्रशासनाला अद्यापही  दिसले नाही. याला विध्यार्थ्यांची शोकांतिका म्हणायची की प्रशासनाचा निर्लज्ज कामचूकारपणा.

Devendra Fadnavis is a prominent name in Maharashtra politics.  Mul is his native village.  His friends attended the Zilla Parishad Higher Primary School at Gandhi Chowk in Mul city.  The son of former minister Shobhatai Fadnavis was educated in this school.  When Fadnavis came to the city, he used to go to this school to meet his friends.  Today the condition of this school has become miserable. There is mud everywhere.  The building is dilapidated.

Fadnavis's friends were given education lessons to this school, which was ignored by the administration.  How to tell this important matter to your friend who is Chief Minister, Leader of Opposition and now Deputy Chief Minister?  Due to this, it is becoming difficult for Fadnavis' friends.  MLA Sudhir Mungantiwar's son is coming to the assembly constituency.  Mungantiwar is known as a staunch supporter of Fadnavis.  But even Mungantivars have always neglected this school.

Interestingly, in the last five years, BJP was in power in Chandrapur Zilla Parishad.  Even during this period the school was neglected.  The roads in Mul city have been resurfaced.  Magnificent government buildings are standing.  A beautiful bus station is being built.  But where the children who will shape the future of India are getting their education.  The administration has not seen their condition yet.  Call it the tragedy of the students or the shameless negligence of the administration.
