वाघ आणि बिबट जेरबंद तर एका वाघिणीचा मृत्यू ...

चंद्रपूर : जिल्ह्यातील ब्रह्मपुरी वनपरिक्षेत्रात धुमाकूळ घालणाऱ्या वाघाला जेरबंद करण्यास वन विभागाला यश आले आहे. सात वर्षाच्या मुलाचा बळी घेणारा बिबट पिंजऱ्यात अडकला आहे. तर विहिरीत पडल्याने वाघिणीचा मृत्यू झालाची दुदैवी घटना ब्रह्मपुरी तालुक्यात घडली आहे.

मागील वीस दिवसापासून सावली तालुक्यात धुमाकूळ घालणाऱ्या वाघाला जेरबंद करण्यात वन विभागाला यश आले. वाघाला जेरबंद करण्यासाठी 25 कर्मचारी दिवस रात्र गस्त करीत अशात आज ( 4 जानेवारी ) ला सकाळी 7.30 वाजता शार्पशूटरने वाघास बेशुद्ध करून जेरबंद केले. या वाघाने निलसनी- पेठगाव येथील कैलास गेडेकर याचा बळी घेतला होता.

दुसऱ्या घटनेत कोरपना तालुक्यातील वनसडी वनपरिक्षेत्रात महिन्याभरापासून बिबट्याने धुमाकूळ घातला होता. या बिबट्याच्या हल्ल्यात एका सात वर्षीय मुलाचा मृत्यू झाला होता. या बिबट्याला पकडण्यात वनविभागास यश आले आहे. बिबट जेरबंद झाल्याचे कळताच नागरिकांनी सुटकेचा श्वास घेतला.

तिसऱ्या घटनेत ब्रह्मपुरी तालुक्यातील मेंडकी वनपरिक्षेत्रात येणाऱ्या गावातील रामाजी ठाकरे यांच्या विहिरीत पट्टीदार वाघीण मृत्तअवस्थेत आढळून आल्याने एकच खळबळ उडाली होती. मृत वाघीण चार ते पाच वर्षाची असल्याचा अंदाज वन विभागाने वर्तविला आहे. चार दिवसांपूर्वी ती विहिरीत पडली असावी, त्यात वाघिणीच्या मृत्यू झाल्याचे वन विभागाचे म्हणणे आहे. शवविच्छेदनानंतर वाघिणीच्या मृत शरीराला अग्नी देण्यात आले. यावेळी वन विभागाचे वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित होते.

 In the third incident, there was a stir when a striped tigress was found dead in the well of Ramaji Thackeray in the Mendki forest area of ​​Brahmapuri taluka.  The forest department has estimated that the dead tigress was four to five years old.  The forest department says the tigress died four days ago when she fell into the well.  After the post-mortem, the dead body of the tigress was set on fire.  Senior officials of Forest Department were present on this occasion.
