नागपूर जिल्ह्यातील 11 वर्षीय मुलीवर तब्बल 9 जणांनी अत्याचार केल्याची घटना उघडकीस आल्याने राज्याची उपराजधानी हादरली आहे. 

या सर्वच्या सर्व ९ नराधमांना पोलिसांनी गजाआड केले आहे. पैशांचे आमिष दाखवून नऊ जणांनी 11 वर्षीय मुलीवर सामूहिक अत्याचार केल्याची ही दुर्देवी घटना आहे. नागपूर जिल्ह्यातील उमरेड येथे ही घटना उघडकीस आली आहे.

उमरेड पोलिसांनी अत्याचारासह विविध कलमान्वये गुन्हा दाखल करून नऊ जणांना अटक केली आहे. रोशन सदाशिव कारगाकर (वय 29), गजानन दामोदर मुरस्कर (वय 40), प्रेमदास जागोबा गाठीबांधे (वय 38), गोविंदा गुलाब नटे (वय 22, रा. रानबोरी, कुही), सौरभ ऊर्फ करण उत्तम रिठे (वय 22), नीतेश अरुण फुकट (वय 30), राकेश शंकर महाकाळकर (वय 24), प्रद्युम्न दिलीप करुटकर (वय 22) व निखिल ऊर्फ पिंकू विनायक नरुले (वय 24) अशी अटकेतील आरोपींची नावे आहेत. काही दिवसांपूर्वी सोन्याच्या अंगठीसाठी शुभम दमडू (वय 25) याची हत्या करण्यात आली. या प्रकरणात उमरेड पोलिसांनी अकोला रेल्वेस्थानकावरून रोशन व त्याचा साथीदार बादल या दोघांना अटक केली. त्यांची पोलिस कोठडी घेतली. कोठडीदरम्यान रोशनची कसून चौकशी करण्यात आली. या दरम्यान त्याने मुलीवर साथीदारांच्या मदतीने सामूहिक अत्याचार केल्याचे पोलिसांना सांगितले. पोलिसांनी मुलीकडे चौकशी केली. तिने रोशन व त्याच्या साथीदारांनी अत्याचार केल्याची माहिती पोलिसांना दिली. त्यानंतर पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल करून नऊजणांना अटक केली.

या संदर्भात नागपूर ग्रामीण पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या अधिक माहितीनुसार, पीडित मुलगी आठवीच्या वर्गात शिकते. ती रोशनला ओळखते. 19 जूनला दुपारी रोशन आणि गजानन मुलीच्या घरी आले. ‘काम आहे, तू आमच्यासोबत चल,’ असे रोशन तिला म्हणाला. मुलीला घेऊन तो स्वत:च्या घरी गेला. तेथे आळीपाळीने दोघांनी मुलीवर अत्याचार केला. ‘अत्याचाराबाबत सांगितल्यास तुला ठार मारू,’ अशी धमकी देऊन तिला 300 रुपये दिले. त्यानंतर रोशन हा वेळावेळी मुलीला घरी बोलायचा. तिच्यावर अत्याचार करायचा. काही दिवसांपूर्वी गजानन हा मुलीला भेटला. रोशनने तुझ्यावर अत्याचार केल्याची माहिती तुझ्या नातेवाइकांना देईल, अशी धमकी देऊन गजानन व प्रेमदास हे दोघे तिला घेऊन रोशनच्या घरी गेले. तिथे तिचे शारीरिक शोषण केले. त्यानंतर अन्य सहा जणांना बोलविले. त्यांनी मुलीवर अत्याचार केला. हा प्रकार उघडकीस येताच पोलिसांनी गुन्हा दाखल करून नऊ जणांना अटक केली. त्यांना न्यायालयात हजर केले. न्यायालयाने सर्वांची 30 जुलैपर्यंत पोलिस कोठडीत रवानगी केली.

The vice-capital of the state has been shaken after the incident of 9 persons abusing an 11-year-old girl in Nagpur district.

All the 9 murderers have been arrested by the police.  This is an unfortunate incident of gang rape of an 11-year-old girl by nine men on the lure of money.  This incident has come to light at Umred in Nagpur district.

Umred police has registered a case under various sections including torture and arrested nine persons.  Roshan Sadashiv Kargakar (age 29), Gajanan Damodar Murskar (age 40), Premadas Jagoba Gathibandhe (age 38), Govinda Gulab Nate (age 22, Res. Ranbori, Kuhi), Saurabh alias Karan Uttam Rithe (age 22), Nitesh Arun  Phukat (age 30), Rakesh Shankar Mahakalkar (age 24), Pradyumna Dilip Karutkar (age 22) and Nikhil alias Pinku Vinayak Narule (age 24) have been arrested.  A few days ago Shubham Damdu (age 25) was murdered for a gold ring.  In this case, Umred police arrested both Roshan and his accomplice Badal from Akola railway station.  He was taken into police custody.  Roshan was thoroughly interrogated while in custody.  Meanwhile, he told the police that he gang-raped the girl with the help of his accomplices.  The police questioned the girl.  She informed the police that Roshan and his accomplices had tortured her.  After that, the police registered a case and arrested nine people.

According to further information given by the Nagpur Rural Police in this regard, the victim girl studies in class VIII.  She knows Roshan.  On June 19 afternoon, Roshan and Gajanan came to the girl's house.  'It's work, you come with us,' said Roshan to her.  He took the girl to his home.  There, both took turns to torture the girl.  300 rupees was given to her after threatening that 'If you tell about the torture, I will kill you'.  After that, Roshan used to call the girl at home from time to time.  He used to abuse her.  Gajanan met the girl a few days ago.  Both Gajanan and Premadas took her to Roshan's house, threatening to inform your relatives that Roshan had tortured you.  She was physically abused there.  After that, six other people were called.  He abused the girl.  As soon as this incident came to light, the police registered a case and arrested nine people.  He was produced in court.  The court remanded all to police custody till July 30.
