चंद्रपूर : जिल्ह्यातील कोरपना तालुक्यातील आवाळपूर येथील दिपाली रविचंद्र मासीरकर ही 2008 च्या नागालँड बॅचची आयपीएस अधिकारी आहे. केंद्रीय निवडणूक आयोगाने राष्ट्रपती निवडणूकीकरिता संचालक म्हणून दिल्ली येथे त्यांची नेमणूक केली असून त्या निवडणुकीचे निरीक्षण करणार आहे. त्यामुळे चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्याची मान उंचावली आहे. आज देशात राष्ट्रपती पदासाठी निवडणूक होणार आहे.

राष्ट्रपतीपदाचे उमेदवार म्हणून एनडीएकडून द्रोपती मुर्मू तर यूपीए कडून यशवंत सिन्हा यांच्या नावाची घोषणा झाली आहे. त्यासाठी आज मतदान होणार आहे. सद्या केंद्रीय गृहमंत्रालयाकडून पाच वर्षासाठी भारत निवडणूक आयोगात संचालक म्हणून दिपाली मासिरकर यांची नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे. मराठमोळ्या महिला आयपीएस (IPS) अधिकाऱ्याला राष्ट्रपती निवडणुकीत आपले कर्तव्य बजावण्याची संधी मिळालेली आहे. ही बाब अभिमानास्पद आहे. मुंबई येथे सहाय्यक महानिरीक्षक या पदावर त्यांनी कार्य केले. नागपूर येथे आर्थिक गुन्हे शाखेच्या पोलीस उपायुक्तपदी सुद्धा त्यांनी काम केले असून भारत निर्वाचन आयोगाच्या संचालक पदी नियुक्ती पूर्वी नागालँडमधील कोहीना येथे पोलीस उप महानिरीक्षक म्हणून त्या कार्यरत होत्या. भारत निवडणूक आयोगाच्या संचालकपदी नियुक्ती झाल्यामुळे राष्ट्रपती पदाच्या निवडणुकीत आता त्या महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावणार आहे.

Dipali Ravichandra Masirkar is a 2008 Nagaland batch IPS officer from Awalpur in Korpana taluk of the district.  The Central Election Commission has appointed him as the Director for the Presidential Election in Delhi and will monitor the election.  Therefore, the honor of Chandrapur district has been raised.  Election for the post of President will be held in the country today.

Dropathi Murmu from NDA and Yashwant Sinha from UPA have been announced as presidential candidates.  Voting will be held for that today.  Deepali Masirkar has been appointed as the Director of the Election Commission of India for five years by the Union Home Ministry.  A Marathmola woman IPS officer has got an opportunity to do her duty in the presidential elections.  This is a matter of pride.  He served as Assistant Inspector General in Mumbai.  She has also served as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Financial Offenses Branch in Nagpur and before being appointed as Director of Election Commission of India, she was working as Deputy Inspector General of Police in Kohina, Nagaland.  He will now play an important role in the presidential election as he has been appointed as the Director of the Election Commission of India.
