वेकोली वणी क्षेत्राचे मुख्य महाव्यवस्थापक (AGM WCL Wani Area) असलेले उदय कवळे (Uday Kaole) यांना पदोन्नती मिळाली आहे. चंद्रपुरात अभियांत्रिकीचे शिक्षण घेतलेल्या कवडे यांनी यशस्वी झेप घेतली आहे. मुख्य महाव्यवस्थापक ते (DT) डीटी डायरेक्टर आॕफ टेक्निकल (BCCL) भारत कुकिंग कोल लिमिटेड, हेडक्वॉर्टर धनबाद असा त्यांचा प्रवास ठरला आहे. वेकोली वणी क्षेत्राचे मुख्य व्यवस्थापक असताना त्यांनी घेतलेले अनेक निर्णय वेकोलीला लाभदायक ठरले. सामान्य माणसांशी नाळ जूळलेला उदय कवळे यांना मिळालेल्या पदोन्नतीचे आनंद होत असतांनाच आता त्यांच्या मार्गदर्शनापासून मुकणार याचे दुखही होत आहे.


आभास चंद्रसिंह नवे मुख्य महाव्यवस्थापक 

मुख्य महाव्यवस्थापक पदावर असलेल्या उदय कवळे यांना पदोन्नती मिळाली. त्या जागेवर आता आभास चंद्रसिंह यांची वणी क्षेत्राचा मुख्य महाव्यवस्थापक पदावर नियूक्ती झाली आहे. चंद्रसिंह हे घुग्घुस आणि मुंगोली खाणींचे प्रादेशिक व्यवस्थापक म्हणून गेल्या दशकापासून कार्यरत होते. त्यांना वेकोलि चंद्रपूर क्षेत्राचे एजीएम मुख्य महाव्यवस्थापक म्हणून पदोन्नती देण्यात आली होती. त्यांची दोन वर्षांपूर्वी फेब्रुवारी 2020 मध्ये वेकोलि नागपूर मुख्यालयात बदली झाली होती.


वेकोलीचा वणी क्षेत्राचे मुख्य महाव्यवस्थापक उदय कवळे यांनी साडेतीन वर्षापुर्वी वणी क्षेत्राचे एजीएम (AGM) म्हणून पदभार स्विकारला. या साडेतीन वर्षांत उदय कवळे यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली वणी क्षेत्राचे सर्वोत्कृष्ट क्षेत्र, सुरक्षा आणि व्यवस्थापक कोळसा उत्पादनात डब्ल्यूसीएलच्या इतर क्षेत्रांपेक्षा पुढे होते. तसेच डब्ल्यूसीएल (WCL), (Coal India) कोल इंडियाकडून अनेक पुरस्कार त्यांना मिळाले आहेत. त्यांनी वणी क्षेत्रातील बंद खाणी सुरू केल्यात. वणी क्षेत्रातील  विविध कोळसा खाणींमध्ये सुरक्षा व्यवस्थेच्या दृष्टिकोनातून एमएसएफ (MSF) सुरक्षा दलांव्यतिरिक्त मुख्य रस्ते, चेकपोस्ट, काटा घर आणि कोळसा स्टॅकमध्ये हाय डेफिनेशनचे सीसीटीव्ही (HD - CCTV cameras) बसविलेत. खाणी आणि त्याचे नियंत्रण ताडाळीच्या मुख्यालयातून नियंत्रित केले जाते. नुकतेच जुलै आणि ऑगस्ट या दोन महिन्यांत वर्धा नदीला दोन वेळा पूर आला होता. त्यामुळे मुंगोली, कोलगाव, पैनगंगा खाणीतून उत्पादित होणाऱ्या हजारो टन कोळशाची वाहतूक पूर्णपणे बंद होती.तरी सूध्दा कोळश्याचा उत्पादनात आणि परिवहनात कमतरता आली नव्हती.कवळे यांच्या नियोजनामुळे हे शक्य झाले. 

कोरोनाच्या कठीण काळात उदय कवळे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली परिसरातील अनेक ग्रामस्थांना राजीव रतन हॉस्पिटलमध्ये नवीन कोविड केअर सेंटर बांधून मोफत उपचार उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आले होते. याशिवाय वेकोलिच्या कर्मचाऱ्यांनीही परिसरातील अनेक सामाजिक कार्यात हातभार लावला. उदय कवळे हे वेकोलिच्या अधिकारी-कर्मचाऱ्यांव्यतिरिक्त परिसरातील सर्वसामान्य नागरिकांच्या भेटी घेत, त्यांचा समस्या जानून घेत असत. त्यांच्या समस्या सोडविण्यास प्राधान्य देत असतं.  ते उत्तम वक्ते होते. सर्वसामान्यांशी त्यांची नाळ जूळली होती. त्यामुळे ते सर्वांचेच जिव्हाळ्याचे होते.

Uday Kaole, Chief General Manager (AGM WCL Wani Area) has been promoted.  Kaole, who studied engineering in Chandrapur, has made a successful leap.  His journey has been from Chief General Manager (DT) to  Director of Technical (BCCL) Bharat Cooking Coal Limited, Headquarter Dhanbad.  Many of the decisions taken by Wcl when he was the chief manager of Wani area benefited Wcl.  While Uday Kaole, who is connected with common people, is happy about the promotion he got, now he is also sad that he will lose his guidance.

Uday Kaole, Chief General Manager of coal Sector of Wcl took charge as the AGM of coal Sector three and a half years ago.  During these three and a half years, under the leadership of Uday Kaole, the best Area, Safety and managers of the Coal sector were ahead of other sectors of WCL in coal production.  He has also received many awards from WCL, Coal India.  He started closed mines in the wani area.  From the point of view of security in various coal mines in wani area, apart from MSF security forces, high definition CCTV (HD - CCTV cameras) have been installed in main roads, checkposts, weight bridge and coal stacks.  Mines and its control are controlled from the headquarters of Tadali.  Wardha river was flooded twice recently in the two months of July and August.  Due to this, the transportation of thousands of tons of coal produced from Mungoli, Kolgaon, Panganga mine was completely closed. However, there was no shortage of coal in production and transportation. This was possible due to Kaole's planning.  During the difficult times of Corona, under the guidance of Uday Kaole, many villagers in the area were provided free treatment by building a new Covid care center in Rajiv Ratan Hospital.  Apart from this, the employees of wcl also contributed to many social activities in the area.  Apart from the officers and employees of wcl, Uday Kaole used to meet the common citizens of the area and get to know their problems.  He prefers to solve their problems.  He was a great speaker.  His umbilical cord was connected with common people.  So he was dear to everyone.

Abhas Chandrasingh is the Wani area new Chief General Manager

Uday Kaole, who was holding the post of Chief General Manager, was promoted.  Abhas Chandrasingh has now been appointed to the post of Chief General Manager of Forestry.  Chandrasingh has been working as regional manager of Ghugus and Mungoli mines for the past decade.  He was promoted as AGM Chief General Manager of Wcl Chandrapur area.  He was transferred to Wcl Nagpur headquarters two years ago in February 2020.
