Queen Elizabeth II పేరుకు తగ్గట్టే జీవితాంతం మహారాణిలా బతికారు. 75 ఏళ్లపాటు బ్రిటన్‌ రాణిగా ఉన్న ఎలిజబెత్‌. సుదీర్ఘకాలం ఆ హోదాలో కొనసాగిన వ్యక్తిగా రికార్డ్‌ సృష్టించారు. కొంత కాలంగా వృద్ధాప్య సంబంధిత అనారోగ్య సమస్యలతో బాధపడుతున్న ఆమె.. స్కాట్లాండ్‌లోని బాల్మోరల్ కోటలో తుది శ్వాస విడిచారు. 

క్వీన్‌ ఎలిజబెత్‌కు భారత్‌తో ఎంతో అనుబంధం ఉంది. భారత్‌ను 200 ఏళ్లపాటు పాలించిన బ్రిటిషర్లు. దేశానికి స్వాతంత్య్రాన్ని ప్ర‌క‌టించిన అయిదేళ్ల తర్వాత క్వీన్ ఎలిజ‌బెత్ మ‌హారాణిగా ఎంపికయ్యారు. 1952లో బ్రిటన్‌ సింహాసనాన్ని అధిరోహించారు. రాణి అయ్యాక ఆమె మూడుసార్లు భారత్‌ను సందర్శించారు. 1961లో తొలిసారి భార‌త్‌ను సందర్శించగా. 1983, 1997లోనూ క్వీన్ ఎలిజబెత్‌ భార‌త్‌లో ప‌ర్య‌టించారు.

క్విన్‌ ఎలిజబెత్‌ వివాహానికి హైదరాబాద్‌ నిజాం నవాబు తన హోదాకు తగ్గట్టు అత్యంత విలువైన బహుమతిని ఇచ్చారు. 1947లో క్వీన్‌ ఎలిజబెత్‌ వివాహం జరగగా. 300 వజ్రాలు పొదిగిన ఐకానిక్‌ ప్లాటినమ్‌ నెక్లెస్‌ సెట్‌ను అప్పటి  నిజాం నవాబు మీర్‌ ఉస్మాన్‌ అలీ ఖాన్‌ యువరాణిగా గిఫ్ట్‌గా ఇచ్చాడు. ప్రిన్సెస్‌ ఎలిజబెత్‌ తన వివాహ కానుకను స్వయంగా ఎంచుకోవాలని నిజాం లండన్‌కు చెందిన ప్రఖ్యాత ఆభరణాల తయారీ సంస్థ కార్టియర్‌ ప్రతినిధులను ఆమె వద్దకు పంపించాడు. దీంతో ఆమె తనకెంతగానో నచ్చిన ప్లాటినం నక్లెస్‌ను ఎంపిక చేసుకున్నారని రాయల్ ఫ్యామిలీ స్వయంగా వెల్లడించింది.

Queen Elizabeth II lived up to her name as a queen for the rest of her life.  Elizabeth, who was the Queen of Britain for 75 years.  He created a record as the person who continued in that position for a long time.  She was suffering from old age related ailments for some time and breathed her last at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

Queen Elizabeth has a strong connection with India.  British ruled India for 200 years.  Five years after the nation's independence was declared, Queen Elizabeth was chosen as Queen.  He ascended the British throne in 1952.  After becoming queen, she visited India three times.  When he visited India for the first time in 1961.  Queen Elizabeth visited India in 1983 and 1997.

The Nizam Nawab of Hyderabad gave Queen Elizabeth a very valuable gift befitting her status.  When Queen Elizabeth got married in 1947.  The iconic platinum necklace set studded with 300 diamonds was gifted by the then Nizam Nawab Mir Usman Ali Khan as a princess.  The Nizam sent the representatives of Cartier, a famous jeweler from London, to Princess Elizabeth to choose her own wedding gift.  The royal family has revealed that she has chosen a platinum necklace that she likes so much.
