चंद्रपूर : वरोरा तालुक्यातील चारगाव- वायगाव मार्गावरील झुडुपात एका 55 वर्षीय वृद्धाचा मृतदेह आढळून आला. ही घटना शुक्रवारी सकाळच्या सुमारास उघडकीस आली. तपासात मृतक हा भेंडाळा येथील रहिवासी असून, सदाशीव महाकुळकर असे त्याचे नाव असल्याचे स्पष्ट झाले. शरीरावरील जखमा बघता दगळाने ठेचून त्याचा खून करण्यात आल्याची शंका व्यक्त केली जात आहे. या प्रकरणी शेगाव पोलिसांनी गुन्ह्याची नोंद करून तपास सुरू केला आहे.

भेंडाळा येथील सदाशीव महाकुळकर हे वायगाव येथील आपल्या नातेवाईकांच्या घरी गेले होते. काल ते न्यायालयीन काम असल्याचे सांगून नातेवाईकांच्या घरून बाहेर पडले. परंतु, ते आपल्या घरी पोहचले नाही. आज सकाळच्या सुमारास चारगाव वायगाव मार्गावरील एका झुडुपात मृतदेह पडून असल्याचे काही नागरिकांच्या निदर्शनास आले. त्यानंतर या घटनेची माहिती शेगाव पोलिसांना देण्यात आली. ठाणेदार अविनाश मेश्राम हे तातडीने आपल्या सहकान्यांसह घटनास्थळी दाखल झाले. पोलिसांनी घटनेचा पंचनामा केला. शरीरावरील जखमा बघता दगडाने ठेचून खून करण्यात आल्याची शंका व्यक्त केली जात आहे. वरोराचे उपविभागीय पोलिस अधिकारी आयुष नोपानी यांनासुद्धा घटनेची माहिती देण्यात आली.

सदाशीव महाकुळकर यांना दारूचे व्यसन होते. तसेच त्यांच्याजवळ पैसे होते. पैशातून गुरुवारी रात्री त्यांच्यावर हल्ला झाला असावा, अशी चर्चा आहे. घटनेचे गांभीर्य ओळखून तपासासाठी चंद्रपूर येथून श्वानपथक बोलाविण्यात आले. घटनास्थळ परिसराची पाहणी करण्यात आली. परंतु, आरोपींचा शोध लागला नाही. पुढील तपास उपविभागीय पोलिस अधिकारी आयुष नोपानी यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात शेगावचे ठाणेदार अविनाश मेश्राम यांच्या नेतृत्वात पीएसआय प्रवीण जाधव, पीएसआय महादेव सरोदे, विठ्ठल वैद्य, राकेश तुरानकर, मदन येरणे, पुरुषोत्तम दातारकर करीत आहेत.

The dead body of a 55-year-old man was found in a bush on the Chargaon-Vaigaon road in Varora taluka. This incident came to light on Friday morning. Sadashiv Mahakulkar from Bhendala had gone to his relative's house in Vaigaon. Yesterday, he left his relative's house saying it was court work. But, they did not reach their home. Around this morning, some citizens noticed that a dead body was lying in a bush on Chargaon Vaigaon road. After that, information about this incident was given to Shegaon police. Thanedar Avinash Meshram rushed to the spot along with his colleagues. The police conducted a panchnama of the incident. Looking at the injuries on the body, it is suspected that she was crushed to death with a stone. Varora Sub Divisional Police Officer Ayush Nopani was also informed about the incident.

Sadashiv Mahakulkar was addicted to alcohol. Also they had money. There is a discussion that they may have been attacked on Thursday night for money. Realizing the seriousness of the incident, a dog team was called from Chandrapur for investigation. The area of ​​the incident was inspected.  However, the accused were not found.  Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Praveen Jadhav, PSI Mahadev Sarode, Vitthal Vaidya, Rakesh Turankar, Madan Yerne, Purushottam Datarkar under the guidance of Sub Divisional Police Officer Ayush Nopani under the leadership of Shegaon Thanedar Avinash Meshram.
