जनावरे चारायला गेलेल्या वाघाच्या हल्ल्यात गुराखी ठार
चंद्रपूर : जंगलात जनावरे चारण्याकरीता गेलेल्या गुराख्यावर वाघाने हल्ला करून ठारे केल्याची घटना आज रविवारी (25 सप्टेंबर) ला दुपारच्या सुमारास घडली. शामरावर जुमनाके असे मृतकाचे नाव असून तो महादवाडी येथील रहिवासी होता.
चंद्रपूर तालुक्यातील आणि मुल चंद्रपूर महामार्गावर महादवाडी येथील रहिवासी शामराव जुमनाके हे आज रविवारी (25 सप्टेंबर) ला गावालगतच्या जंगलात जनावरे चारायला गेले होते. दुपारच्या सुमारास जनावरे चारत असताना जंगलालगत दबा धरूण बसलेल्या पट्टेदार वाघाने त्याचेवर अचानक हल्ला केला. यामध्ये 50 वर्षीय शामराव जुमनाके याचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला. या घटनेची माहिती गावकऱ्यांना होताच, त्यांनी घटनास्थळाकडे धाव घेतली. लगेच वनविभागाला माहिती देण्यात आली. त्यांनी घटनास्थळी येऊन मृतदेहाचा पंचनाम केला आहे. या परिसरात वारंवार घटना घडत असताना वनविभाग मात्र वाघाचा बंदोबस्त करण्यासाठी ठोस पाऊले उचलत नसल्याने नागरिकांमध्ये प्रचंड संताप व्यक्त करण्यात येत आहे. मृतक शामराव जुमनाके याचा परिवार गरीब आहे. त्याच्या पश्चात परिवार असून घरचा कर्ता असल्याने कुटूंब उघड्यावर आला आहे. या परिसरात धुमाकूळ घालून शेतकरी, शेतमजूरांचे बळी घेणाऱ्या वाघाचा बंदोबस्त करून मृतकाच्या कुटूंबियांना तात्काळ आर्थीक भरीव मदत करावी अशी मागणी नागरिकांनी घेतली आहे.

Shamrao Jumnake, a resident of Mahadawadi in Chandrapur taluk and on the Mul Chandrapur highway, had gone to graze the animals in the forest near the village on Sunday (September 25). Around noon, he was suddenly attacked by a striped tiger sitting close to the forest while he was feeding the animals. In this, 50-year-old Shamrao Jumnak died on the spot. As soon as the villagers came to know about this incident, they rushed to the spot. The forest department was immediately informed. They have come to the spot and performed panchnam of the dead body. While frequent incidents are happening in this area, the forest department is not taking any concrete steps to deal with the tiger, so the citizens are expressing great anger. Deceased Shamrao Jumnak's family is poor. He has a family behind him and being the breadwinner of the house, the family has come into the open. Citizens have demanded immediate financial assistance to the families of the deceased by taking care of the tiger that killed the farmers and farm laborers.
